As a Junior Quantitative Analyst, you will work closely with our Lead Quantitative Analyst on researching, developing, and implementing innovative algorithms that compile odds for various sports. You will use your quantitative analysis skills to provide accurate and up-to-date odds to our customers.
You will also delve into the realm of customer analytics. By exploring predictive models, you will uncover valuable insights that will guide our strategic decision-making process. Your ability to translate complex data into meaningful and actionable recommendations will make a significant impact on our organization’s success.

What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with the Lead Quantitative Analyst to research, develop, and productionize new algorithms for odds compilation across various sports
- Conduct research on predictive models for customer analytics, extracting valuable insights to drive strategic decision-making
- Generate ad-hoc analyses and reports that provide actionable recommendations for the department and the organization as a whole
- Embrace opportunities to enhance your understanding of sports and software engineering practices, continually expanding your skill set
What we’re looking for
- A degree in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or equivalent (Masters level is a strong plus).
- Strong knowledge of probability theory, stochastic processes, numerical methods, and statistics.
- Exposure to at least one OO programming language (Java, C#, C++, Scala, Python).
- Analytically minded, able to understand and overcome technically complex challenges.
- Interested in sports and competitive games
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Bonus points if you have:
- Proficiency in Java and Python.
- Exposure to SQL querying.
